Minimally Invasive & Robotic-Assisted Surgery

Exeter Hospital's surgeons are experienced in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures that can shorten recovery time and reduce discomfort. Using advanced surgical systems, they perform precise operations through small incisions — often resulting in less pain, lower risk of complications, and a faster return to normal activity.

Our robotic-assisted surgery program is led by Antonio Gargiulo, MD, who also serves as Medical Director of Exeter Hospital's Center for Reproductive Care. Dr. Gargiulo and our surgical team use this technology across specialties such as general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and urology.

To maintain the highest standards of care, our surgeons participate in ongoing simulation-based training and procedure credentialing using state-of-the-art surgical education tools.

Outpatient Surgery Center

Our Outpatient Surgery Center offers a streamlined, patient-friendly experience. Laboratory testing, imaging, and EKG services are conveniently located nearby, making pre-surgical preparation efficient. Patients and families are welcomed into a calm environment designed to reduce stress, with loved ones able to stay until surgery begins.
