Wellfit Program: Supervised Exercise for Cancer Recovery

Supervised Exercise for Cancer Recovery and Strength

Exeter Hospital's Wellfit Program helps patients regain strength, energy, and confidence during or after cancer treatment. Sessions include flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular exercises — all supervised by trained exercise specialists in the Center for Orthopedics & Movement.

Each participant receives a personalized plan tailored to their fitness level and medical history. Our goal is to help you safely rebuild endurance, manage fatigue, and enhance overall well-being through structured, supportive exercise.

Program Details:

  • Medical clearance is required for participation.
  • All participants are evaluated by a physical therapist before starting.
  • You can join at any time during treatment or up to one year after completing care.
  • The first 10-week session is free; additional sessions may be added on a pay-per-visit basis.
